if you are looking for the cheap route, because you canno’t afford to feed you’re pet, give you’re pet to an no-kill shelter.
their is no such thing as a place that gives away free dog food and supplies, shelters need that kind of stuff.
and i suggest you go down to a local petstore and buy some cheap dog food the dog toy’s aren’t necessary ,
did you think about vet bills?
what about a collar and leash
you need at least one toy.
and what about the adoption fee.?
how did you afford it
what did you go trash the pitbull name
by adopting a dog that’s to old to fight

No such thing as a free pet and no one is just going to GIVE you supplies for free either.
IF you can’t afford an adoption fee you can’t afford a dog.
Some dog food companies will send free samples if you request them. Some treat companies have some kind of "birthday club" for dogs, and send a few treats every year.
You’re not going to find much for "free" tho.. these companies wouldnt be able to stay in buisiness if they just gave it all away!
You can try sites like craigslist and freecycle too.. you may find a few free used supplies thru there.

Why would you expect to get free dog food and supplies.
Nothing is free, someone has to pay for it.
When people take on the responsibility of pet ownership they take on the responsibility to pay for what their pet needs.
Sorry, if you can’t afford to even feed your dog you should surrender it to a no kill shelter.

PETS ARE NOT FREE AND THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS FREE DOG OR CAT. You can get dogs/cats are discounted at animal shelter, the older the dog, the cheaper it is. Yes a $300 adoption fee for a dog may very work out cheaper then a $0 DOGS

I’m not sure, but please let me know when you find it, and ask if they offer free medications, too. I am sick of spending $300/month on medications.
A lot of these answers jump to the conclusion that the questioner is unrealistic or irresponsible. The question only asked about how to get free stuff, which is out there, usually on a promotional basis from manufacturers, although maybe some local charities might be able to help a special situation. Check the various websites of companies for samples, or maybe animal shelters, and you also might check Craigslist. If you really are in need, you might also try posting something on Craigslist. You might run across someone who has half a bag of dog food left over for some reason.
Here’s an example of a company that gives away free samples of their dog and cat food as a way to get people to try it and get acquainted with them.
