Maybe Flagyl liquid suspension. I believe that’s a treatment for Giardia. Have a giardia screen done to make sure if it’s even what the bird has.Good luck. Check out http://www.menageriemayhem.com for expert advice.Good luck.

Ronex is the brand name. Metronidazole might be the generic name.

The course (coarse) of treatment is long and involved. Do not treat the bird unless you KNOW he has giardia. Vets cannot even tell for sure unless the bird is shedding the parasite. Read up on Ronex and it comes with directions.

Email me off YA so I can tell you more.

first thing yo u need to do is go to a avain vet have the test ran over the counter meds only make it worse and the vet is the one who can prescribe the right treatment and the right amount of the meds , i really suggest you take it to a avain vet and have the blood work ran, before starting any home treatment, because it could be something totally different. normal treatment is 50 days of anitibotics and other meds ,
