I’ve always seen them but there’s never a label on the tank for them like there is for anything else. The tiny ones, maybe size of a quarter up to a half dollar. What are they called? Do they grow bigger or stay small? I’d like to get a couple for my betta’s tank. I just think they’re adorable. What do they eat? Would it be ok to put them in with my betta?

im actually getting a few of these frogs tomorrow! Most likey, their African Dwarf frogs or african clawed frogs. Way to tell the dwarf frog has webbed feet on BOTH front and back, clawed frogs do not. They stay the same size, yes they do get along with bettas quite often, they can eat freeze-dried or (frozen) bloodworms, sinkable frog pellets, etc. There are some techniques on feeding them as they do not search for food well, so id recommend going on google and searching how to feed them. and its good to have a heater but not mandatory, though the water needs to be between 70-80 degrees. enjoy the little guys!
If they are African Dwarf Frogs yep they will stay small.
On the other hand, African Clawed Frogs will get huge and kill stuff in your tank
Should be sure which they are before buying.
they most likely are african dwarf frogs. they can be kept with your betta. as long as they have enough space and preferably a filter and heater. they eat blood worms. They stay small. good luck
