Whenever I put my hand inside my parrot’s cage, he always gently chews/nibbles on it and rubs his head against it, is this normal?
It’s a blue-crowned conure. Been trying to get him to step on my hand and just recently he started to rub against it lol

Yes, quite normal. A bonded pair of parrots (What kind of bird do you have?) usually perform what you’re describing on each other, sort of like.. petting each other. Your bird is just showing you that he/she really loves you, if you move your finger a little, she/he’ll probably really like it!
Oh how precious indeed! … You birdie is letting you know it loves you and TRUST’S you for sure. Give it some love back and pet it if it allows it. That’s awesome …. You have a really nice bird :0)
