The dog has never had pups, but she cleans and takes care if the kitten
She’s always licking it’s behind, but I’m afraid even though Sara is helping it go to the bathroom, should I still assist?Or should I just let her do her motherly thing ?

Thats so cute….You should let the dog do her thing. If she stops for a while, than of course step in. But they are born with that maternal instinct already in them. They know what to do. Just make sure you watch, just so the kitten dont get stepped on or anything.
Let her act like a mom! There’s nothing wrong with that!
shes fine,my dog used to mother baby animals, she would stop me from walking if she heard a baby cry, some dogs are just motherly,as long as your feeding it,and its going potty,it doesnt matter
let her be a mother but be cautious the cog could take completely over and become violent towards plp trying to help the kitten
