how do you find restored large quaker parrot cages? cant find ones that dont have new prices?

flea markets,yard sales, or check out freecycle.org where everything is FREE
Don't buy a cage. Buy a ticket to return your parrot to the wild where it belongs.
Search on the Internet for a list of local bird clubs. They will most likely have someone in their group with unwanted cages to give away.
Personally I don't like to mess with used cages. It's not often you find them in good condition. With some homework you can get a decent, inepensive cage brand new. You are not going to get such a cage at Petsmart or Petco. Try finding a large breeder. Most likely they have a wholesale source for cages and will work out a deal with you.
We do this all the time for our customers. It's sad that many pet stores do not pass along discounts given by the manufacturers or distributers.
