Does water conditioner for aquariums expire at all?

I have had a bottle of all-in-one water conditioner for a long while now, and I’m getting new fish. I was wondering if it is still ok to use. I have seen newer bottles of conditioner and they have expiration dates that are about 3 years ahead of time. I know mine is older than that, but it doesn’t have an expiration date or anything. Please anyone let me know when possible. Thanks!

I’d suggest you just go ahead and buy a new bottle of conditioner, just in case. A big bottle only runs about 10 dollars so it won’t set you back very far, and it’ll probably be better in the long run.

You should buy a new bottle just to be on the safe side.
Most water conditioners and other aquarium chemicals have an expiration date of 4-5 years. If you keep up on regular maintenance you should use up a new bottle of conditioner before its expired.

+This is RTCking saying good luck with fish keeping and I hope this helped+
