You don’t say where you live but if there’s a cage retailer in your area I’d try there even if it were a little higher. If you could arrange to have it picked up and delivered shipping will be lower because it’s closer.
If you make one yourself be sure to use stainless mesh (not galvanized because it’s poisonous). I’ve made temp cages from ingredients that Homedepot sells but it’s not a long-term solution. Used mainly to keep them in while cleaning their regular cages or during a tornado alert in the basement.
Shipping and handling charges depend on weight and size.
A large, sturdy cage will cost a lot to ship. There is no changing than, unfortunately.
Go to a pet shop and bring it home in your car.
Or make one. DIY stores can sell you everything you need.
Go to the hardware store, buy suitable mesh wire and hire some local ‘handy man ‘to build this cage and save a bundle of money! pre made bird bird cages is a BIG rip off. have your own built! buy your bird food at a feed mill and save some more!

Try ebay….they have some with free shipping. Make sure to get a large one; nothing sadder than seeing a parrot, or any bird, in a too small cage. Good luck!
