I have a great dane/st bernard mix, and he is a sloppy eater. I’m looking for something rubber maybe with a lip or an edge on it, to hold the spilled water and food. Plus it needs to be xl, I’ve looked at pet supply places but nothing really seems right, if anyone has suggestions I would appreciate it.

You know those big Rubbermaid or Sterilite tubs that you can buy for $5 to $10 each? The BIG ones that you might store clothing in. I use the lid to one of those, upside down. It’s perfect, it’s easily hosed off (or rinsed in the shower if it’s winter lol) plus you then get a big tub to use as a laundry basket (that’s what I do with mine anyway). It’s the perfect solution!
Buy a XL towel or use an old towel.
Sounds like you need a kids wading pool
other than that I have no idea.
you could probably use one of those rubber "boot trays" people use by their doors to keep muddy wet boots from messing up the floor. Ive seen them pretty large and they have a lip on them so the spills wouldnt run on the floor.
ya know im crazy for somethin to my rottie she acts as if we want a pool in our kitchen drool and watter a stream i hate it but i do as the person said i have a towel well like five i use under the bowl during the week it helps but there is really no method aside from a man made bib or pail we can put around there neck! lol
Boot tray sounds good. I used an empty soda flat* for my Newfie.
* the box a case or so of soda comes in, is only about 2" high when i have seen them.
