I have a large 60 lb akita/shepherd mix who destroys strong wire crates to escape. She’s figured out how to undo the latches, she bends the wires and destroys the crates when we make the latches stronger. She’s currently in a pet porter which serves the purpose, but its really too small, and its one of the largest available. If you know of a company that produces strong steel crates made to endure a powerful breed, we would be much appreciative.
In answer to your questions: She gets plenty of excercise. The problem is she suffers from seperation anxiety, plus she is deathly afraid of my german shepherd. (we have been consulting with a Behavior Specialist about these matters and she is improving)

Wow! I have pit bulls and they sleep in their kennels that we get from http://www.omahavaccine.com we use the highest quality ones from there and none of them have done this.
I’d check into why she is doing this. how long do you leave her in there? Does she get enough exercise? She may be trying to tell you something. Maybe she doesn’t like something about her kennel?
