am i a bad owner because i dont own a crate?

I did not notice it until 1) the foul smell and 2) little spots of bloody dschg on pillows, linens, etc. It is about the size of a quarter. She eats well, is happy and playful. I feel no nodules in the head/neck area. I can’t afford a 00 vet bill. I bought some holistic immuno booster medication and vitamins at the local pet supply. I don’t want her to be in pain or ill.
