making it short i live several hours away from a dog food place that actually carries the food i use.

the foods the two stores carry are:
loyall, retriever, 4health, diamond. are the only ones i do not know anything about!

the other foods those stores carry are: Pedigree, Iams, Alpo, beneful and science diet.

i was told i needed more info on the dog.

breed: whippet
age: puppy under six months
energy level: fairly active like any puppy.
allergies: none known.
health: excellent.

so out of the listed dog foods available what would you recommend?
ALSO asking if this would be good for a friend same type of dog (smooth sighthound) but the breeder recommends Pedigree lamb and rice puppy (is not insisting she feed it). her owner wants to switch which of the above foods is better than Pedigree lamb and rice?

breeder is reputable has shown dogs AKC parents titled and passed BAER, OFA and CERF tests. so obviously some breeders feed this ‘low quality food" i am justing looking for a slightly higher quality food

We just noticed them, they’re squishy balls of fat or skin or something on her front, er, elbows. They aren’t on her hind legs.

What could have changed my Chihuahua's behavior?

I have a year old chihuahua. About a week ago, his attitude changed towards my husband and son. He nips at them and doesn’t want to play with them. In the mornings, my husband takes him out to potty before leaving, but the last couple of days he has been nipping at my husband from his crate. There is no abuse on their part. In fact, my husband babies him more than I do. He will get up and sit with my husband and let him pet him. His attitude towards me is fine if not a little too clingy sometimes. He is eating and drinking well. He is pooping and peeing, too. He doesn’t act sick (i.e. sleeping all the time, not eating). Any advice? What may cause this? How do I change this behavior?

My parrot on the bottom of his cage?

My parrot has been going to the bottom of his cage. He doesn’t look sick, or ruffled. He climbs back up and has a healthy appetite. But he just seems to go to one corner as if he sees something. He gets excited and starts chattering in the corner. After that he starts rolling over on his back. And then he gets right back up and just goes about his day. Just wondering if this is normal parrot behavior
