Medical Supplies for Dogs?

My dog is really sick and I am unable to afford to take him to the vet. Does anyone know where I can purchase medical supplies to treat parvo? The medicine I need to purchase is potassium, cefazolin, baytril, ampicillin, etc..

I have had a bottle of all-in-one water conditioner for a long while now, and I’m getting new fish. I was wondering if it is still ok to use. I have seen newer bottles of conditioner and they have expiration dates that are about 3 years ahead of time. I know mine is older than that, but it doesn’t have an expiration date or anything. Please anyone let me know when possible. Thanks!

Could this tropical freshwater community work?

For a 20 gallon aquarium, I want:
1 Dwarf or Pea Puffer
2 Male Guppies
4 Female Guppies
5 Platies
4 Ghost Shrimp
8 Neon Tetras
3 Panda Cory Cats
Are there any fish I shouldn’t get? I know this tank will be way overstocked, I am going to moniter my Ammonia very closely and stay on top of the water changes. I have made a shopping cart at an online aquarium supply store and just to let you know how well set up this tank will be, I even bought a refugium for the livebearer fry, of which I plan to give almost all away to a pet store nearby. It will be a planted tank with a piece of driftwood and a big rock. Will this tank work? Please answer!
Pea Puffers are the only freshwater puffers. They also need to eat snails to keep their teeth ground down so they don’t get too long.
Oh, and my mom and I order our fish from liveaquaria.com. great site, we have never had an order we weren’t happy with. And there’s no way they would label a fish incorrectly.
The pleco would eat the leaves off the plants.

How much water should a dog drink a day?

Is there a formula of sorts? Our dog was in for a dental cleaning a week ago and the pre-anesthetic blood panel showed a slightly elevated BUN level and a high creatinine (2.5). The vet asked if he was showing signs of kidney failure (excessive water intake, lack of appetitie, lethargic, accidents in the house). He’s shown none of these signs. He actually doesn’t seem to drink enough. Urine test showed bacteria-so he’s currently on an antibiotic, but the bacteria culture came back "no growth" – so she said it must not have been a significant infection. He also had low urine concentration. He goes back at the end of this week for another urine test. Since then we bought bottled water-thinking our softened well water might not be good for stressed kidneys. I’ve been measuring and he only drinks about 2.5 cups of water a day, even though he has an endless supply. That doesn’t seem like enough. He’s 95 pounds, 8 years old, Chesapeake Bay Retriever. Will ask the vet this week of course.

I have an African Grey parrot and I made a nesting box for it. and when ever I put it in his cage he is afraid of it and does not go near it. How can I get to show him that it is not a threat to him and so he is not afraid of it.

What supplies do I need for a new dog?

I’m getting a yorkie for my birthday, which is in a week. I’ve done multiple research about them. I know it all. But, I need to know what exactly do I need to but before my yorkie gets here. I know the usual, bowls, pads, leash, cage, bed, I just need to know what else. Also, what else will I need in the long run? So I can buy it all now

Adult cat food for a kitten?

Is it OK to feed a kitten adult cat food? We ordered our food shopping online and they have sent us a 2 month supply of adult cat food! Very annoying!

Do we need to return it and replace it with kitten food? Our kitten is about 15/16 weeks old. Before we bought her she was living on pet mince and lambs hearts so she hasn’t been on a kitten food specific diet up until now, I have fed her fish and kitten food for the past 2 days while she has been living with us.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance xx
To the first answer from…Farisha I think…I didn’t say anything about feeding her HUMAN food.

I am talking about adult cat food.

To Ryan’s answers, that was copied and pasted from another persons question and had a lot in it that didn’t apply to me in any way. We don’t have an adult cat, we got sent the wrong kind of food.

To the second person who answered, thank you, you actually read the question! x

How do you care for a dog in heat?

This evening I noticed red spots on the floor and come to find out, its coming from my 7 month old corgi. She’s got an appointment to get spayed next month. I’ve never had a female dog before. Besides cleaning up after her & keeping her kenneled, what else do I need to do? Does this mean my male pit will go nuts?
I made an appt to get her spayed a couple of months ago, they were just very backed up.

I’m getting a shitzu puppy in a few weeks and I was just wondering how much on average it would cost per month to take care of one.

How much would it cost for food, supplies, shots, etc?
Thank you!!
