i need to find a sturdy cage for my sun conure

I saw a beautiful Chow Chow this morning who was a mess. Every inch of his body was covered in huge mats, it was ridiculous.

I would have loved to say something, maybe even offer some advice as to what brush they should buy for the dog, but I imagine anyone that would purposely ignore obvious mats on their dog doesn’t really care and would give me a place to put that brush.

Should I mind my own business? Any polite ways of offering advice as to how/why they should frequently brush their dog?

First off, I’d like to mention that I don’t know the first thing about fish…they are not my particular choice of pet. The fish in question are my mother’s and sadly, she isn’t so great at doing research so I’m trying to learn more to help her out. We have a 20 gallon tank and I bought her a few fish(neon tetras, fancy guppies and a dalmation molly) to liven it up a bit. I asked the pet store worker and she insisted they would all live friendly and happily because I’d hate to buy fish that would be hostile to eachother. My current problem is that she told me today one Tetra and the Dalmation Molly are dead…they apparently swam too close to the pump, got stuck and died. How can I fix this so it doesn’t happen again? Is there a different kind of pump that isn’t so strong? Does she even need the pump?
Just to clarify, yes the lights were off when I introduced them, no I didn’t add tank water first…but they’ve been living fine for a week now. I figured this was a freak accident. And they’re not getting sucked INTO the pump, just stuck on the side of it…the slots on the filter/pump are about 1/8" wide…tops, and the dalmation molly was about 2" long, I have no idea how a fish that big could have gotten stuck on something so ridiculously small…I assume it was simply the force of the suction that held her to it. The pump itself is a Penguin 160/1080(120vac, .17amp, 60 htz). Can’t say I know much of what this all means, tried researching it but keep coming up with merchandise sites.

What is the best site to buy pet supplies?

I need to save some money on my dog and cat supplies. What is the best website?

I won my fish just yesterday at my state fair.

It’s a fish thats white with orange spots and is about and inch big.
I don’t have any fish tank or anything but I just putted him in a container which isnt that big. Yesterday when I won him he was in a Zip-Loc at the fair when I got him home I put him in the container.

I filled the container up HALF way, and yesterday I feared he might die because I don’t have all the right "Fish Supplies" for him.

So is it okay if he stays in the container for awhile? Does he need oxygen or any special needs? Please help me:) 10 points best answer!

THANK YOU!

This is how he looks like and he is a goldfish I just figured :) But he has less of the orangy things ")

I want to have multiple aquariums in my house but I am concerned about the humidity issue. Most people would get a dehumidifier but in my case it would always be draining my tanks… wouldn’t it? Any ideas or suggestions would be great. Thank you.

Hey! Tomorrow (Friday July 11th) we are gonna go for a 1 1/2 hour drive to adopt our second dog! But what supplies should I bring besides credit cards and cash for the dog? Like a kennel? Do they supply those? My other dog will be with us, and there isn’t enough room for them both to sit in the back. Should I also bring toys to keep them occupied? Please help!

Pet Parrot questions (cages, recommendations)?

Hey I’ve been thinking of obtaining a small pet bird for quite some time now. I am a student, but have many spares and only work a small amount. I have done a lot of research and am considering a cockatiel, lovebird, or a parrotlet. (leaning more in favor of the lovebird) I would like a large cage with minimal "throwing mess" and would also like to make it myself. I anybody can direct me to some stellar plans for building a birdcage like this I would appreciate it! (have looked at some things like the zinc coated mesh problems and such any info on this would be great too) Also, if you have any other suggestions, tips, etc I would love to hear them. Thanks a lot!!

My parents think that I am going to get tired of a dog. But I know that I would never do that. How do I convince them that getting a dog is a good thing. And that I am responsible to take care of one???? Please help me because I have wanted a dog ever since I was 4 years old!!!!! Please help me in any way you can.
